Un théropode sinraptoridé (Dinosauria: Saurischia) dans la formation Phu Kradung du Nord-Est de la Thaïlande

Un tibia de théropode provenant de la formation Phu Kradung dans la province de Mukdahan (NE de la Thaïlande) est décrit et attribué à la famille des Sinraptoridae, auparavant connue seulement dans le Jurassique de Chine (Xinjiang et Sichuan). Cette découverte confirme les affinités de l’assemblage de vertébrés trouvé dans la formation Phu Kradung avec les faunes du Jurassique supérieur de Chine. L’âge jurassique supérieur suggéré par les vertébrés fossiles pour la formation Phu Kradung ne concorde pas avec l’attribution au Crétacé inférieur fondée sur les palynomorphes.
